SNAP JAW
We are super proud and excited to announce Jai and Dev, who collectivly are known as 'SnapJaw', will be the Guests of Honour for 2024!
During Doggy Weekend SnapJaw will be hosting panels, meeting attendees, and taking part in events.
SnapJaw has been making custom sculted latex hoods since 2019 and their unique style, bold colours, and great quality has brought many characters to life.
Jai is the wizard of the arts and the soul of Snap Jaw's aesthetic. She sculpts our hood designs, pours herself into the paint and polish of each custom order, and manages the daily operations of Snap Jaw's shop to make sure every hood comes out perfect! Jai holds a BFA in Illustration from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
Dev is the master of technology, mold design, and logistics! He works behind the scenes on R&D and works out new techniques! He has also sculpted our recent design, the Spectacular Dragon. Aside from Snap Jaw, Devacor is a game developer who has worked in the industry for several years, some titles include Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Dragon Age 2, and recently MultiVersus.
The two are lifelong furries who met in San Francisco while Jai was studying and Dev was there for work. They have been together for 10 years, and friends for 3 years before that. Originally the two worked on an unreleased indie game project called Bindstone where Jai picked up 3d modelling experience, and the two took Movie SFX classes as a hobby in Vancouver for 2 years where they both learned practical mask making skills.
At the intersection of artistic passion, mask design focus, and a deep love for the furry fandom, Snap Jaw was formed in late 2019 and since then we've done our best to serve the Pup, Latex, and Furry communities!
