This year, Doggy Weekend is fundraising for SWITCHBOARD LGBT+

Switchboard is the national LGBTQIA+ support line. For anyone, anywhere in the country, at any point in their journey. They can discuss anything related to sexuality and gender identity. Whether it’s sexual health, relationships or just the way you’re feeling. The space they provide is your space – to explore, talk and be truly heard.
 

Their support line is completely free, and available wherever you feel most comfortable – whether that’s on the phone, via chat or email. 10am-10pm every single day.
 

Switchboard creates a space for anyone to be heard and explore anything related to being LGBTQIA+.
 

We here at Doggy Weekend are proud to support them in their work, to provide advice and support to those who may be struggling with important questions of identity, or who may feel lost and in need of a safe and non-judgmental person to talk to who may be able to help.
 

This year, look for the Switchboard posters we’ll be putting up around Doggy Weekend. They’ve got a QR code which you can scan to give a quick, easy, and important donation to fund their good work. We’ll have volunteers at some of our events with posters and leaflets for you in case you’d like more information, or visit their website here.
